I was reading an article about the economics in video games and i understood that there are a lot of money involved in video games. For example, last week there was a championship about the game Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 and the prize was 1 million dollars, and i started to think, from where they get so much money. In 2010, the business of video games earned 56 billions of dollars and that makes us to think in how many people in the world play video games. A lot years ago, there were few companies about video games, but now there are a lot, and about all kind of video games, from sports, to war. Before, only kids used to play video games, but now, not only kids, adults play video games too. When you turn on you PS3 or your XBOX 360, and you sign in your account, you see that there are like 289,789,988 people online, playing the same game that you are playing, now, start thinking on how many online games are. And how many people play online. There is a lot people playing online, and you will be asking yourself, What this has to do with economics. Well, first, the companies like Sony or Microsoft, pay a lot of money for the game. And apart from that, there is an online store, where you can buy online thinks, like video games, map packs, DLC, which are expansion of some games, etc, and there are a lot of people that pay a lot of money for this things, and that makes the company earns a lot of money. It was too heavy, but i still downloading it. Once it finished, after like ten hours, i started installing it. And suddenly i saw that in the screen appeared a box saying that the game was to big and it will delete some programs, i though that it will delete programs like ares and something like that, but it deletes most of my other games.
